View Director Site →Two Heads began in 2005 when best mates Nick Ward and James Anderson joined forces to create a one-off special about drunk Santas wreaking havoc on Auckland city.
What should have been the end of the company was, somehow, the start of something much bigger.
Since then, Two Heads has built a reputation for creating bold, entertaining content across television, documentary and commercial work. From fresh and quirky docu-series to comedy specials like the Comedy Central Roast of Mike King, and original formats including Making Tracks, Funny Roots and A Night at The Classic.
They also created TV ONE's ratings hit The Food Truck, which went on to air in over 40 countries and even turned into a real-world restaurant.
Today, Two Heads works across development and production, partnering with brands, agencies and broadcasters to create stories with heart, humour and strong visual craft. Whether it's a campaign, a series or something that doesn't quite fit a box yet, the focus is always the same — find the idea, shape the story, and bring it to life in a way people actually want to watch.
