AND THE NIGHT GOES ON …

Fans of A Night At The Classic will be delighted to learn a second series has been funded by the good people at NZ ON AIR and TVNZ. The new series will see some fresh NZ Comics take to the stage along with the return of Brendhan Lovegrove as Brendhan Lovegrove… Production is expected to take place at the end of 2011 with Josh Thomson returning as Director.

STAND UP FOR CHRISTCHURCH

Two Heads recently teamed up with Mr & Mrs Wills to help on their Christchurch Red Cross Earthquake Appeal fundraiser, Quake, Rattle & Roll. Filmed live in Adelaide, Australia, the show was put together within a week of the quake and featured MC Peter Helliar (Rove) hosting performances from Arj Barker (Flight Of The Conchords), Patrick Monahan, Tom Gleason, Sam Wills and more. FUNNY ROOTS FUNDED

We’re delighted to announce that NZ On Air and TV3 have funded our new Comedy Series Funny Roots. Each one-hour episode follows a different comedian on a journey through their very own funny roots in New Zealand and abroad, before a Stand-Up comedy set about their personal experience.

FOOD TRUCK SHOOTING WRAPPED

Well it’s taken nearly six months, but filming on our new TVONE series The Food Truck has come to an end. Tears all round as one of the hardest, but most rewarding projects we’ve ever done gets closer to delivery. Big thanks to Molten, Liquid Molten, ours star Chef Michael Van De Elzen, Production Manager and Truck Wrangler Rich Mills and all the crew. Watch this space for details of on air date soon.

MIKE KING GETS ROASTED

The Comedy Central Roast of Mike King went to air on Wednesday night. Thanks again to all the wonderful comics who helped make it such a great night. We’ve had some fantastic feedback and are really proud to be the first company outside America to produce an official Comedy Central Roast. The one-hour show will be repeating on Comedy Central so keep an eye out for it!
